About Heather
Many, many years ago, Heather said goodbye to her home state of Oklahoma to follow her dreams in Hollywood!
Since then, she’s been hovering on the cusp of stardom, waiting for her close-up. So far, she’s racked up a couple of Emmy Awards as a journalist, comedian, and host. She also created the Webby Award-winning podcast, Motherhood in Hollywood (seriously, you should check it out!), co-hosted the Brooker Family POPcast with her husband Chris and daughter Channing. And now hosts Entertain Me with Heather Brooker on iHeartRadio.
Love news? Heather Brooker is your go-to. She hosts KFI Live on iHeartRadio every Sunday at noon, breaking down the news and entertainment stories impacting Southern California. While at KFI, she earned the inaugural June Lockhart Award for Radio Entertainment Reporting, and her podcast Entertain Me with Heather Brooker took home Best Interview Podcast from the Radio and Television News Association of Southern California.
As an actress, Heather has appeared in over 40 films and TV shows, including “Grey’s Anatomy,” “The Office,” “Fresh Off The Boat,” “The Mindy Project,” and more. As a journalist, she was in the unprecedented role of digital entertainment reporter for NBC in Los Angeles, where she regularly interviewed celebrities and other luminaries in Hollywood.
Heather has built a community of nearly 1 million followers across her social media and online platforms. (Follow along…it’s fun!)
In 2020, she spoke about gender equity and body positivity at the GirlUp Leadership Summit where keynote speakers included Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Meghan Markle. She is passionate about empowering women to love their bodies of every shape and size.
She lives in Los Angeles with her husband Chris and 13-year-old daughter Channing, who is also a very talented actress!
